The man is coming tomorrow at sunrise to start the demo on our now defunct air conditioning system.
On the one hand, nuts. That’s early.
On the other, the outdoor portion of the unit looked like this when we got back from Panama City:
That’s a solid inch of ice around the base. More than this, after I spent five hours pouring boiling water over this ice one afternoon it looked the same two days later. So, there’s something to be said for having a machine to heat the house that doesn’t generate an inch of ice over fifteen square feet of surface.
As far as why did we do the door before the deck. I believe that the way they had to cut into the house to install the door would have been obstructed by the deck.
